Food is fundamentally about sharing so as a Canadian chef I am thrilled to support a cause as worthy as Bethanys Hope. As a parent I am also honored to be able to help other families in their time of need.
Over the years I have gotten to know charity founders Dave and Lindey McIntyre, I have never met a more gracious and inspiring couple. They are true Canadian heroes and bring the best out in so many people around them. I look forward to spending time with them and their extended family and am always energized by the experience.
London is a great city. I remain impressed by the strong sense of community that underlines the event, so many different local resources come into play. Volunteers from all walks of life help make the event more than successful, they make it special. In particular I'm honored by the efforts of the culinary students at Fanshawe College, we couldn't do it without them!
